A summer tennis programme organised by the Dominica Tennis Association (DTA) and sponsored by the Dominica Olympic Committee and the European Development Fund took place at tennis courts on High St. from July 13 to August and has been hailed as a “tremendous success.”
“It was very successful… all the participants received a medal and a beautiful t-shirt marked ” Summer Tennis”, disclosed Coach Andy Carter.
According to him, the top performers received trophies. He disclosed that “the interest in tennis is high from the showing,” with over 20 participants in the one-month programme. Coaches were Andy Carter and the President of the DTA, Dave Baron, with assistance from Rihanna Didier.
