Police arrest Harlem

The Police Sports Club notched up its second victory on Thursday evening as the action continued in the 2021 Dominica Football Association (DFA) Division One League.

In the only match played at the Almond Park in Dublanc, the Police Sports Club got the better of Harlem United by two goals to nil.

Cheston Dangleben converted both goals in the Group One encounter. His goals came in the 19th and 28th minutes of play. Police Sports Club moved to six points from three matches while Harlem remained on four points from the same number of matches played.

The Division One action will continue this Friday at Almond Park in Dublanc. ACS Pottersville Tarish United FC will do battle against Mahaut Soca Strikers FC from 6 pm in a Group 2 2ncounter

On Saturday, in one of two matches, RC Doctors FC will go in search of their first win of the season when they take on Wooty Blazers FC from 4 pm at Dublanc. In the other game carded, All Saints FC and Wayne George Football Academy will face each other from 4pm at the Newtown Playing Field.

Meanwhile, several matches are carded when the second round of competition in the Premier Division moves into its second week.

On Saturday Happi Bath Estate FC will take on Connect 767 East Central FC from 4pn at Portsmouth while at the Stock Farm Complex it will be league leaders Central Cooperative Credit Union Dublanc FC will look to extend its lead when they do battle against the struggling LA Stars FC. This match-up will kick off at 4 pm.

On Sunday, Petro Caribe Pointe Michel FC and LA Enterprises Bombers FC will face each other at the Stock Farm Complex. In the other game, Benjamin Park will host WE United FC and Promex Harlem United. Both matches on Sunday will kick off at 4 pm.
