Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 AM on Thursday, January 13, 2022
A high-pressure system is becoming the dominant feature. This is expected to result in a gradual drying out of the atmosphere as the day progresses. However, a few showers can be expected mainly across the eastern and central sections of the island during the cooler early morning and afternoon.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 7.0ft. A gradual reduction in wave heights can be expected as the day progresses.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
