Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023
A high-pressure system will remain dominant across the area today. The presence of dust haze and a relatively stable atmosphere are expected to limit shower activity. However, the overnight passage of a surface trough could support an increase in cloudiness with a few showers over parts of the island, into Thursday. Â
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking near 8.0ft along the eastern coastline. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution.
