Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2023
A high-pressure system will remain dominant across the area today. The presence of dust haze and a relatively stable atmosphere are expected to limit shower activity. However, the overnight passage of a surface trough could support an increase in cloudiness with a few showers over parts of the island, into Thursday.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking near 8.0ft along the eastern coastline. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution.
