A high-pressure system is expected to be dominant across the area today, while a weak surface trough is likely to develop overnight. Occasional cloudiness with a few showers are expected, over parts of the island, during the early morning and overnight periods.Â
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with wave heights up to 5.0ft, along the eastern coastline. An increase to nearly 7ft is expected on the weekend.Â
