A trough system will generate weak unstable conditions across the area during the next 24 hours. This is expected to support occasional, scattered showers and a slight chance of isolated thunderstorm activity during the period.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with north easterly swells peaking to near 7.0ft along the eastern coast by this evening. A High Surf Advisory is in effect for the expected increase in wave energy. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution.
