Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

Moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave are expected to continue affecting the area during the next 24 hours resulting in periods of cloudiness with showers and possible thunderstorms. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides, and falling rocks, particularly in the southeast of the island should exercise some caution today.
Most of the activity associated with this wave is concentrated to the south of the Lesser Antilles. Members of the public with an interest in these islands should monitor the progress of this system.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with wave heights near 8.0ft on the eastern coast this morning and decreasing thereafter. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for above-normal seas. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers along the eastern coastline should exercise caution.
