Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A high-pressure system is expected to produce periods of cloudiness and brief showers across the island today. From tonight, weak instability is expected to result in cloudiness and scattered showers across most of the Lesser Antilles.
A surface trough is expected to produce an increase in cloudiness, scattered showers, and a chance of isolated thunderstorms across the area by Thursday into Friday.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking to 5.0ft. An increase in northerly swells can be expected during the overnight period. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to be on alert.
