Unstable conditions are expected to produce an increase in cloudiness, scattered showers, and a chance of isolated thunderstorms mainly across the northern Leeward Islands during the next 24 hours. However, a weak high-pressure system is expected to result in a relatively dry atmosphere together with the presence of dust haze across Dominica as the day progresses.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 5.0ft. Light winds and improved seas conditions are expected over the next few days.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
