Valid from 6:00 AM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021
A high-pressure system is expected to be dominant across the area during the next 24 to 48 hours resulting in relatively dry conditions. Occasional cloudiness and isolated showers can be expected across the island, mainly during the overnight to early morning periods. Weak instability is projected across the area by the weekend.
Dust haze is projected to linger across the area over the next few days resulting in a reduction in visibility. People with respiratory sensitivities are advised to continue to take the necessary precautions.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with wave heights decreasing to 5.0ft.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
