An increase in moisture is expected across the island during the next 24 hours as a tropical wave moves across the area. An increase in cloudiness, scattered showers, and possible thunderstorms are expected across most of the region. Up to two inches of rainfall are possible across Dominica.
People in areas prone to flooding, landslides, and falling rocks should exercise caution during the period.
Another tropical wave is expected to move across the area on Saturday into Sunday.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking to 7.0ft.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
