Roseau, Dominica (May 19th, 2023) — Flow Dominica has announced a change of leadership with Ms. Sharon Jemmott taking the helm as Country Manager effective June 1, 2023.
Jemmott has extensive telecommunications experience and is currently Flow’s Consumer Sales Director for Barbados. She joined the then Columbus Communications operation in 2014 and has previously held the roles of Vice President, Service Delivery and Technical Operations for CWC and Vice President, Government Sales, and Business Development, at C&W Barbados.
A Barbadian national, she has a wide range of experience across the company’s technical and commercial operations.
She succeeds Jeffrey Baptiste, who has been with C&W for approximately 20 years and served as Country Manager of Flow Dominica for the last 14 years. Baptiste leaves behind a legacy of strong leadership and has overseen the transformation of Dominica’s telecommunications landscape, including the rollout of 4G and LTE mobile solutions. He is held in high esteem by his team, locally and across the region.
Following the internal announcement, which was made on May 15, Jemmott remarked, “I am honored to be given the opportunity to lead such an amazing team and I look forward to building on the legacy of success that has already been established. I am passionate about delivering a world-class network experience for customers and ensuring that we offer competitive products and services that suit the lifestyles of all our customers.”
