Weak unstable conditions are affecting the area. This is expected to result in an increase in cloudiness and scattered showers across the island during the next 24 hours.
Saharan dust will continue to affect the area resulting in a reduction in visibility. People with respiratory sensitivities should take the necessary precautions to avoid complications.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with wave heights peaking near 8.0ft, in eastern coastal waters. A Small Craft Advisory is now in effect for above normal seas. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to continue to exercise caution.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
