DOMLEC requires for employment a Lineman in the Engineering, Transmission, and Distribution
Department.
Job Summary:
Construction and Maintenance of the Transmission and Distribution Systems
Applicants should possess the following:
Qualification and Education
An Associate’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Professional or specialized training and or exposure to:
Line Construction and Maintenance
Operations of High Voltage and Low Voltage Switching Devices
Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Transmission and Distribution Systems construction,
operation and maintenance.
Special abilities/aptitude/skills
The applicant should:
Be computer literate in the use of relevant components of Microsoft Office Suite and other
applicable work-related software.
Be able to work on your own initiative
Be able to Communicate effectively in both oral and written format
Possess good customer service skills
Can effectively supervise a team of 4 persons
