Brawl halts play DFA awaits Referee’s report

The Dominica Football Association (DFA) awaits the referee’s report before determining the outcome of a preliminary round encounter in the 2022 President’s Cup. The matchup between Wooty Blazers FC and Island Gemz Jimmit Ballers FC ended prematurely. 

The game which took place on Wednesday evening at the Stockfarm Sports Complex, saw its end in the 73rd minute of play when a fight broke out between players from both clubs. At the time the encounter was blown off, the score was one goal to nil in favor of Jimmit Ballers FC. 

Meanwhile, Tranquility Beach Middleham United FC recorded another win when they defeated Calibishie Diasporas. National under 17 captain, Malachi Bonney found the back of the net twice in the three goals to-one win at Benjamin Park in Portsmouth. Ryan Matthew added the other goal for Middleham United FC. 

The lone goal for Calibishie Diasporas was converted by Kyle Lawrence
