Police have arrested and charged Sheldon Elizee of Grand Coulibri Grand Bay for wounding and Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) with intent.
According to reports, he maliciously wounded Sandy Poppone of the same address on February 5, 2023.
Reports are that the accused is the boyfriend of the victim who went to his home where an argument started over another woman. That argument resulted in a fight with both the girlfriend and the accused sustaining serious injuries.
The matter was held at the Grand Bay Magistrate’s court and the prosecution did not object to bail. The court set bail at $50,000.00 with a proper surety and adjourned the matter to May 10, 2023.
