A student of the Dominica Grammar School (DGS) has proudly received a gift of a laptop computer thanks to the graduating Class of 1987 of that school (C87).
At a brief ceremony held at the school, the gift was handed to Jean-Rick Toulon. The former students have formed a none profit organization aimed at helping the school and its students. Over the past years, the past students have assisted several students in various ways and are also involved in mentoring students.
In making the donation on behalf of C87, Rebecca Corriette a member of the group expressed the hope that the donation will be used in a “positive manner by the student in his school activities.”
He in turn thanked C87 for the contribution and pledged that the contribution “will not go unnoticed and will help him grateful in his school work.”
