LA Enterprises Bombers FC picked up the second win of their campaign when the action continued in the 2021 Dominica Football Association (DFA) Division One League.
Playing in front of their home crowd at the Benjamin Park on Wednesday evening in a Group 2 encounter, Bombers FC edged out Valvoline WE United FC by one goal to nil.
The lone goal of the encounter was converted by former national youth team player Kadimel Paul in the 53rd minute of play after a goalless first half.
The win pushes the Bombers FC to six points from their three matches played while WE United FC remains on six points having suffered their first defeat of the season in that competition.
When the action continues on Thursday evening, in one of two matches, Harlem United will take on South Dominators from 6 pm at the Almond Park in Dublanc in a Group 1 fixture. Harlem has to date secured a total of four points from three games while their opponents have two points from their three matches played.
The other encounter, a Group 2 fixture, scheduled for the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth will feature Exodus FC against newcomers Island Gemz Jimmit Ballerz FC. Exodus FC will look for their 3rd win in as many matches and will put their unbeaten record on the line. Jimmit Ballerz FC will look to secure their second win of the competition having secured a win in their last outing after losing their two opening encounters.
