Nature Isle News (NIN) is investigating the arrest of seven (7) American nationals now in police custody.
Reports are that they were arrested at Exotica Cottages and their arrest is said to be “unlawful”.
Among those in custody are a doctor, an engineer a Court of Appeal Judge, and a pilot.
Police have confirmed to NIN the arrest but refuse to give any further information. They were all picked up at 7 am today and transported to Police Headquarters on a Task Force Bus. They arrived on the island on three private planes.
We can also confirm that the United States Embassy is following up on the matter.

Meantime, the seven were released late on March 24, 2024, without any charges and have since left the country.
