It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of National House of Assembly Speaker Emerita Alix Boyd Knight. Speaker Emerita Alix Boyd Knight was a true pillar of strength and an exemplary stateswoman who dedicated her life to public service. Her leadership and tireless efforts in the National House of Assembly have left an indelible mark on the history of Dominica. Her ability to bridge divides and promote dialogue, even in the most challenging of times, was a testament to her exceptional character and statesmanship.
As the President of the National Youth Council of Dominica and Chair of the National Youth Parliament, we recognize the importance of nurturing and encouraging young leaders, and Speaker Emerita Alix Boyd Knight served as an inspiring role model for all generations, including our youth. Her legacy will undoubtedly continue to motivate young Dominicans to aspire to greatness and to serve our nation with integrity and dedication.
